Communication

Well, as I was browsing my friends list, I found this thoughtful essay from theferrett:

Say Fuck, Get Candy

It's about communication and rewards and that sometimes the behavior we *think* we're rewarding isn't the behavior that's getting rewarded at all.

Anyway, I'm still pondering on this; I suspect I've been on both sides of this equasion, but the essay is worth linking to if for no other reason than the fact that I intend to ponder on it for a while.

A brief pause

I've had a lot going on lately both in my head & in life. I really want to post about it, but I'm still feeling kind of scattered, so I just wanted to post to let people know I'm still here, and you can expect an update within the next day or two, if not later tonight.
