[Well, I've been tagged by both
anjala and
confusedjew, so I don't really have a choice. ;)]
List 7 songs that mean something to you right now, no matter what genre, style, if they have lyrics etc etc then tag 7 other people to do the same.
1. Freewill - Rush
2. The Rainbow Connection - Kermit the Frog
3. Blue on Black - Kenny Wayne Shepherd
4. Bring Me To Life - Evanescence
5. Piano Man - Billy Joel
6. Hold On Loosely - .38 Special
7. Walking in Memphis - Marc Cohn
It's late...that's all I can think of right now; I was going to do some extras, but they're not coming.
[EDIT 1/27/06] I've thought of four more, including one I can't believe I missed:
1. Kyrie - Mr. Mister (I used to call this my "theme song", I'm not sure how I forgot to include it.)
2. Huron 'Beltane' Fire Dance - Loreena McKennitt
3. Just about any version of Pachabel's Canon, although I'm particularly fond of George Winston's version off the "Winter" album.
4. Mary Ellen Carter - Stan Rogers
Bear in mind, these are in no specific order.
[/EDIT]
I'll ask (not tag, necessarily):
alaindan,
laurelyn22,
netdancer,
syreen,
trcabbage,
velvetsteel and
ero.

Date: 2006-01-27 05:19 pm (UTC)I'm a HUGE Rush fan...although my true connection is to Geddy. I'm a sucker for bass players and...wow, his bass work ROCKS. I've got his solo album, too. It's not as good as Rush, but it's pretty good.
And it was a toss-up between Freewill and Roll the Bones.
